If so, you might qualify for Extra Help!

 

What is Extra Help?

 

     Extra Help is a government program that helps Medicare beneficiaries with the costs of their Medicare Part D Plan, including co-pays, monthly premiums, deductibles, and the “donut hole.”  This program is also known as Low-Income Subsidy (LIS)

 

Who qualifies for the LIS?

 

     If you are single and your monthly income is:

              

               less than $1,320; or

               yearly income is less than $15,840; or

               your resources cannot exceed $11,990

 

     If you are married and your monthly income is:

             

              less than $1,770; or

              yearly income is less than $21,240; or

              your resources cannot exceed $23,970
